Great tasting dishes don't need to come from a recipe. The best home-cooked meals can be made with the simplest ingredients. At Black Squirrel Farms, we love using fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables in new and exciting ways.
Whether you've been cooking for years or just getting started, there is something for everyone.
Sign up today for one (or more) of our in-home, hands-on, one-on-one cooking classes.
We are excited to offer our new one-on-one cooking classes. Our farm cook, Michaela Buhrman, will come right to your home kitchen and teach you how to make simple, yet delicious, home cooked, veggie-based meals. All of our recipes are geared towards home cooks who are looking for new and exciting seasonal vegetable recipes.
Whether you're just looking to add some more veg to your diet, or if you'd like to lose the meat all together, but aren't sure where to start, these classes are for you!
Check out our upcoming group classes here at the farm too!

LIVING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CAN BE FUN!
Because of our busy schedules it's easy to reach for a box of pre-packaged, processed food for a meal, but do you really know what's in that food? Or where it was grown?
Whether it's pesticides and herbicides used during the growing season, GMO's, irradiation, ultra-pasturization, mystery "spices", chemical colors, or simply the incredible distance most things are shipped; it makes more and more sense to buy local and grow your own food.
Not only can it save you money while supporting local farmers and gardeners, you really KNOW where your food is coming from and what it takes to get from the field to your table.
